Homebase 3 stuck on Red light. Trying to do initial setup

Hello all, I just got a refurb - 2nd hand homebase 3. Trying to do the initial setup but im unable to do it. Its just stuck on Red light. Wont go any further. I have tried all sorts, different router ports, different lan wire, reading the posts on here, tried to take out the hard drive and reset, I just cant make the light go on Blue. any help would be appreciated please. Regards

Try a factory reset then add it back as a new device in the app

Thanks, done all of that. Still can’t go on blue, one thing I noticed is that the post at the back of the home base where the RJ45 goes doesn’t light up. Is there another way to force reset the device

Only way I know is what I posted. Make sure you delete it first from the app then try the factory reset. If its a refurbished directly from Eufy or Amazon there should still be a warranty. If you got it from a friend make sure they deleted it from their app or I believe you can’t set it up if someone else has it on there app
