Hello! I got this system for 6 days now, and the camera is receiving direct sunlight at least 4 hrs per day, and is constantly signaling that is charging, but it doesn’t. I just git the notification that is running low on battery, any advice? I am thinking of bringing it back to BB for an exchange.
Hello, my friend. If your device is experiencing battery life issues, you might want to check out this post to improve your device’s performance. https://inspire.eufy.com/web/topic/3439649
That is not entirely true!! Why do you pull excuses out of a that box of troubleshooting techniques. When it doesn’t exist.
I had the floodlight WIRED camera, it stop letting me view, the troubleshooting ideas range from.
THE CAMERA STILL FOLLOWED MOVEMENT /SOUND.
EUFY (IT) RESOLUTION
It is an Internet issue, No connection due to interruption.call your Internet provider!!
Let’s address this one
So, I did reach out to my Internet providers IT department , and they did observe and investigate all and ANY intruptions.
There were NONE!!
NOTE: HAD THERE BEEN ANY INTERNET INTRUPTIONS my INSIDE home Wireless Night Owl cameras, WOULD HAVE ALSO LOST SIGNAL!!
They never lost signal!
But relaying that didn’t matter.
EUFY (IT) are inside a box with a troubleshooting guide they follow, if ANYTHING. Remotely is off that spectrum guide…well!!! Your on your own trying to troubleshoot and resolve these issues yourself!!!
EUFY (IT) RESOLUTION: FAULTY Home WIRING or camera
My friend took my floodlight camera to his home and it’s still working FINE!
I purchased and installed my LOREX floodlight camera in the same place the EUFY floodlight was wired
EUFY (IT) RESOLUTION:
Camera warranty expired!!
So because the warranty expired I receive no TECH SUPPORT!!
And let’s talk about the cloud subscription, charged twice, and still can’t not add ANY CAMERAS .
And no response to any numerous emails
I just wonder how the International Trade Commission allows companies to not only honor their product per technical issues even if warranty has ran out, why they also allow consumers to pay for services that are Never rendered. Then charge twice for same non rendered service.
Sorry for the vent, but not sorry for these issues that has caused my frustration and money lost to a product .
Did you plug it in and charge it fully first? I have issues with my solar cameras, too. (S220) It seems like no amount of sun recharges them significantly. I even tried the angle, time of year, etc. I always end up taking mine down and recharging them manually. Which defeats the purpose. I wonder if their newer solar tech is any better or if it’s all marketing…
Totally maddening. At least you bought them through BB instead of directly from eufy…
Maybe try restart the devices If that doesn’t work, maybe try getting an extra solar panel to boost the charging.
