Hi everyone, I recently installed the solocam 340 and battery doorbell and was wondering if there is a way to change the settings so that the spotlight activates with the camera but only after a certain time if night say from midnight to 6am, and then the rest of the time have just the camera activate if it spots something.
I would like the spotlight to turn on whenever this persons dog comes running up to the house from 3-5am when they take it for walks without a leash. It wakes us up whenever there’s an alert saying something is coming up our driveway. maybe if we hit them with the spotlight or an alarm noise they might get the hint to stop co in so close to our door.
Hi, I’m not sure if your solocam 340 has that option. Open the settings for the camera and look for spotlight tap on it and see if it opens up an option for a schedule.
To my knowledge, this lighting setting is not possible.
On the other hand for the dog that arrives running in your alley: e
Try to set your camera to turn on the lights for about 1 week, this way the dog’s owner will notice that he is being filmed thanks to the projector light and he may be careful with his dog when he passes by your house :•)
I think we have to ask Eufy to do an update because I would also like to have this setting according to the hours and many of my friends would also like to have it, many have stopped using their Eufy cameras only because of this missing setting.
Ask Eufy if they can make an update, I will also make the request Many of us want this function, which is available from all competitors.
Otherwise, you can buy a small alarm and a light, then you create an « automation » so that the alarm or light goes off at the same time as the camera at night, maybe it can work like this to help you.
Hi, I tried checking in my settings in the android app (device is solocam S340) under Spotlight menu it only has a Light on/off button, and a slider for brightness up to 100%. I’ll have to do it manually if/until they add a schedule option for mine.
