I’m currently running a setup with S4 Max PoE cameras and the eufy NVR. I’ve hit a major security flaw in the app logic.
I use Geofencing, but when I’m sleeping at home, the system stays in “Home” mode. If someone enters my yard at night, I only get a silent notification. I want the system to force “Away” mode (with siren) during night hours, even if my phone is detected at home.
Currently, “Schedule” and “Geofencing” are mutually exclusive. You can’t have a schedule that includes geofencing logic for the daytime only.
Has anyone found a workaround (via HomeKit, Google Home, or automation) to prioritize Schedule over GPS position at night?
We need eufy to allow “Schedule” to trigger specific modes regardless of Geofencing status for better night-time perimeter security.
