hi I have a glass porch on my house will the detection work through the glass,
any useful tips would be appreciated

most Eufy cams won’t detect motion properly through glass since the sensors rely on heat, and glass blocks that. If the camera is behind a window, it probably won’t pick up movement outside.

If you can, mount it outside the glass. If it has to stay inside, turn off night vision so the IR lights don’t reflect off the glass at night. You can still see live or recorded video, but motion detection won’t be reliable. Let us know what camera you’ve got and we can help more.

Yes I’ve given up, and relocated it outside however I’ve sacrificed a good position from inside

I wasnt get any problems from reflections just no detection
