Hi, I need some help. I recently bought the 5-Piece Home Alarm Kit, but I can’t figure out how to set the alarm so that it doesn’t go off immediately when I enter. I’d like it to wait around 30 seconds so I have time to enter the code.

I managed to set a delay for when I leave – the alarm waits 30 seconds before arming – but when I come back, it triggers instantly. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

You have set the leaving delay but you also need to set alarm delay go on to your Homebase settings to do it
