Homebase 3 loses connectivity every couple of days, I’m having to unplug it , wait 30 seconds, plug back in then back on line ok.
Its connected with ethernet cable to a newish sky router, any ideas anyone?
May be you should just keep it plugged into the modem with your ethernet cable…
Basically, it’s not doing anything but storing clips…
You kniw what im saying you don’t have to have it on the mantle… just keep plugged in hidden under the TV or co.puter or what ever…
That’s a tough one to figure out… It’s connected via Ethernet cable, so it shouldn’t really lose its connection to the internet…
Either the Sky Router is blocking the HB3 at some point in time or the HomeBase3 is faulty.
To see if the Sky Router is the problem?? You would need to get another HB3 to see if it happens again with the replacement.
Tried connecting the HB3 wirelessly to the Sky Router, then you can remove the ethernet cable afterwards. See if you lose connectivity again.
That’s what i have done
Good idea, I will try connecting wirelessly,
Got you, I was thinking you had it connected via wi=like everyone else… Say good luck with that… they get a little funky from time to time… there’s a restart on them home base 3’s if you hit it it’ll reboot you as well, so you don’t have to do all that crazy stuff…
Makes life a little easier…
Yep, what ever gets the job done… it’s not a vanity fair…
I think some are like that
