How do I set these cameras so every time a car goes by it doesn’t record it??? It’s filling my storage with 250-300 recordings a day!!! This is driving me crazy
Try several things, Turn down the detection range under the app settings for your camera, set up a Area Activity Zone, or Turn off Motion or turn motion sensitivity to it’s lowest.
Try any one of these individually and see if they work for your needs.
It’s in your settings, if you haven’t got any answer already. Human
Or all motions ( just set it to human and adjust your activity zones or whatever you wanna call it, security zone.
Setting. But changing it to humans should work. And play with the settings, your sensitivity. 1-7. Adjust all those settings and see what happens. It’s trial and error
It is set to human. The solar cameras pick up everything. I have it set to human and sensitivity low. The doorbell camera rarely picks up anyone. Leaving my house or coming in, nothing. But every car that drives by it captures. I’ve had my cameras for just under a year and one went out. I got a whole new set from the warranty claim. I know it’s somewhere in my settings because the other set (same model) never gave me 300+ notifications in a day! Thanks for your help. I will keep trying to figure the setting out - and deleting hundreds of recordings
I see you have an s380 Homebase. If you have the cameras in the HB3 ecosystem, the setting is in the s380. Theres a reference to ecosystem on the main page. The setting allows you to choose what you want to detect (human, pet, vehicle…).
Wait a minute, I’m wrong the setting is in the camera settings under motion detection. Mine are in the HB3 ecosystem. I have unchecked vehicle and all motion. The camera does not detect motion. I’ll post a screen cap to help you see.
Yup I agree with pm19 uncheck vehicles under motion detection if you want to completely remove vehicles from being detected. only other way is to create a activity zone that will eliminate detection near the road and only closer to your property.
You settings. There is an option for detecting vehicles. U check this
