I have many eufy indoor cam 2k cameras, and bought a homebase 3 in Dev 22. And I see indoor cams are finally compatible with homebase 3 in April…
I have homebase 3 added to my app already, but it’s not clear how to add cameras to it. In the main status page, I see it shows I have 76% of built-in storage free, then the settings page has audio, notifications, general, and other settings… But I am expecting a button to add my existing cameras, which doesn’t exist…
I am actually not clear how the homebase should work. Say I have 10 cameras, I’m expecting I can choose to add 7 to homebase for recording 24x7, and the chosen cameras will show within the homebase status page, then I can click on a camera to playback video. Is this how it works?
OK, so I made some progress. Looks like the cameras need to be on firmware 2.1.8.3, then in the camera config, under general → storage, now there is a new option called “NAS (RTSP)” instead of the old “RTSP”, then there is a chose to discover the Homebase, and link to it.
Prob 1 - I have 8 Indoor 2K’s, I was able to upgrade firmware on 6 of them, but 2 of them are on 2.1.7.5 but show “firmware is up to date” when I force a firmware check, so they don’t have the “NAS (RTSP)” option.
Prob 2 - I have added a 5TB hard drive into Homebase 3 now, and it shows 5120GB with 97% available. On the 6 cameras, I configured for continuous recording. However, i still don’t see where a camera list or camera videos under the Homebase pages. HB3 is on firmware 3.1.7.8, which is the latest.
Does anyone know how to fix?
