'Human only' mode detection during the night

App tweak to enable users the option to use the ‘human only’ mode during the night.
Instead of automatically force entering ‘all motion’ mode.

Some users are experiencing false triggers due to weather (snow etc…) during the night
giving users this control would eliminate that and would be very simple to implement.

You don’t want to get blasted out of a sound sleep because of a bunny or rain??? What fun is that?

Even the new c24 outdoor (non PIR) will sound the alarm for every rain drop (or squirrel) under IR at night. You can select notifications only for humans and still record all other motion during daylight hours ( so nice ). … but at night you are forced to make the choice. Alarm/Notify on everything…. or nothing. ( really bad for me with constant rain and wildlife everywhere (Seattle))

Leave the IR on at night and it will alarm every 10 seconds in the rain and record all of it up until the camera crashes under the weight. On many nights …the rain will require a flash memory reformat after it crashes.

Yes…. We understand Eufy that we might not get the alarm/recording we wanted at night…. But an alarm every few seconds is crazy. Give us the choice.

I would rather have an alarm with 10-20% human accuracy (with added motion backed lighting)…. Than shutting it off completely because it’s driving me crazy.

I think this has to do with their AI not being good at night for example my outdoor cam c24 when it detects my cat during the day says pet detected but at night when it detects my cat it says motion was detected and no longer specifies as a pet. Until AI improves during lowlight/dark hours we might be stuck with all motion.

You are correct…. These same cams under the HB3 do much better.
