I assume its just unfortunate placement but is there any way to prevent the video being washed out like this? The floodlight isnt on, its the IR.
Try your local lumberyard and look for a round non decorative rosette. I used Home Depot’s 1 in. x 5 in. x 5 in. PVC Standard Grayson Rosette between the wall and the camera so the infrared would be out and away from the building. They have them in several thickness and sizes.
If you can, move it more away from the wall or maybe to the corner. Or if you have enough light to turn off infrared, try that. It’s caused by the infrared reflecting off the wall when it turns.
Good luck. Like the idea about the rosette.
I have the same problem on one of my cameras, but the other one is fine. Mounted exactly the same way with a corner mount from Amazon.
That’s sucks.
