I charged my so

I charged my solar wall cam 2 days ago and it already shut itself off with zero battery. There were no motions detected. it’s been cloudy but something is draining the battery. Any thoughts?

Eufy is rolling out an app update to 5.0.4.1 to fix the battery drain issue. It’s being rolled out in stages so not everyone has it available in the Play/App store yet. I was able to fix my Solocam battery drain a lot by changing the Eufy app battery setting from Unrestricted to Optimized in my Android phone. This could slow down notifications though. Having the app fixed is a lot better.

I think you need to full charge it in first install and use it to let the battery to below 97% or lower. Then you keep check the solar panel charging performance.

Thank you. Hopefully all it takes is a firmware update.

I have had my wall cams installed for almost a year and half. I haven’t had in issue with them until a few weeks ago.

I have 3 of the solar wall lights they tend to go offline for extended periods and it’s a real PITA to get them back. Pretty sure it’s signal issue from the base. Learning that if I leave them alone, they will come back online eventually.
