I do have a Eufy battery-powered camera. I recently noticed the battery is draining quickly as my home is located near the roadside. Any suggestions to increase battery life other than turning the camera away from the face of the road?
Define activity zones or adjust detection settings. You can select “Human Only” mode to avoid detecting vehicles.
Length of clip. Gap between detection. Resolution
Or turn down the sensitivity
I agree with all the other comments try making some adjustments. If that doesn’t help maybe the battery is aging out. Not sure if battery is replaceable or you have to replace camera.
Definitely try sensitivity settings and zones. Also, if it’s a solocam, connecting it to a homebase will help with battery life. Also, maybe consider setting select hours to record? Lastly, I’ve never played with the bottom motion detection option (I think it’s just general and labeled “motion”) but maybe toggling that off will prolong your battery life by only recording the other identifiable events… Let us know if you find a good solution–always helps to learn from others. ![]()
