I don’t know why the most recent overnight update to the Eufy Security app on Android unexpectedly changed all of my personally selected notification sounds across ALL of my security cameras but the fact that I had to go into the settings for every device individually to reselect my desired & customary notification sounds to get things back to normal was TRULY IRRITATING and I presume largely avoidable from a development perspective.
Please don’t alter our personalization & normal user experience by allowing an app update to hijack our settings and reset them to defaults without our express permission or at least warning us in advance that an update will have this negative impact on our user experience prior to pushing the update to our devices so we can CHOOSE a decent time to deal with the inconvenience and plan accordingly.
Waking up to total chaos from my Eufy Security app today was not cool and started my day off quite unpleasantly.
