I got my Homebase 3 set up as human recognise with video record and alerts but not sure what this does as nothing gets recorded and no alert is received. I have tried standing infront of the S4 camera, the camera detects and follows you but does not record or provide any alerts. Can anyone explain why is going on please?

Human recognize is a HomeBase3 feature.
Set up Eufy HomeBase 3 human recognition by enabling the BionicMind AI in the app, then add familiar faces via HomeBase Settings > Face Manage. You can upload photos, select from known video events, or label strangers to train the system, allowing for custom notifications based on recognized individuals.
So the reason you’re not getting any recordings or notifications is because it doesn’t have any information yet. That you would supply.
On the screenshot that you provided, turn on human detection and vehicle and pet so that you will begin to get recorded videos and notifications.
I agree, turn on the human, pet and vehicle if desired. I would hold off on the human recognition until you become more aware of your cameras operations. I also use motion on it’s lowest setting at night because the camera needs light to recognize humans.
thanks. So when the system understands familiar and non familiar faces, can you set it up so that it alarms when it detects a non familiar face?
Hmm… I’m not sure if it has that specific feature to set off an alarm when a stranger is detected.
Though the detected notification will state person’s name of a known/recognized person once it’s learned.
Is it possible to set up the camera so that it alarms and takes video when human is detected but only dies video/no alarm when a pet is detected?
