No.

Higher resolution gives you more pixels (more information, bigger view), it doesn’t necessarily mean clear zoomed in pics/videos unfortunately. Eufy cameras utilize digital zoom (a fancy way of saying it uses software to cut out and blow up what you want to zoom in on) vs. true optical zoom where the aperture adjusts giving you a better view at long distance. The bit and framerates are also kind of low, resulting in blocky, distorted zoomed video and photos.

There’s no fix I can think of.

Your best bet is to get a camera with a really good optical zoom or telephoto lens.

Oh ok, thank you very much for your response… I really appreciate it, I kinda understand now. One .ore question, I hope you don’t mind… what about the shadows I see that appear to shape shift and move but there’s nothing in the area that could be causing a shadow?

It’s my pleasure. Ask anything and if I do have an answer I’ll provide one.

Shapeshifting shadows during the day are generally made by clouds. This is more rare at night but it can also occur and this is generally due to almost invisible spider webs causing reflections in the lens and such.

Hol You might want to down load the vid Nd crop it to give it that zoomed in look…

Well I appreciate you so much, you have no idea… Its at night time, our lighting outside is ok but not enough to light up the whole yard, I will send a still shot of what I’m talking about if I can… so you can get a better idea of what I’m talking about, and there’s also lights, some you may confuse as flashlights but don’t are too large and way to high in the air to be a flashlight. I will show you…

Ok cool, thanks million, I really appreciate it… is that an app for Android or is it software for laptop? Hopefully not apple bc Im without anything that will run it if so …

You can do photos from your phone but I think you’d have to down load and app for videos…
To crop the photos hit the scissors icon on your screen at the part you want to crop…
2 from your photo gallery hit the little pencil icon/edit…
To hit the crop icon wich is usually a box surrounded by a rotation circle…
Then photo shop the pic…

Android has an app called movie makers that allows you to do more…
You might want to watch a YouTube video on how to work the app… it’s fairly simple but the extra info will help…

Hol3143 that apps called video maker… you can do all kinds of stuff with your stored video on it… Good luck…
