I have S3 Pro Solar Cameras direct wired through USB C for continuous recording but new Eufy Homebase Pro S1 still discover them as battery powered and when I try to live stream through HDMI port it cuts off live streaming stating “ to conserve battery power” . Does anyone else have same issue. If the Cameras are hard wired through direct power then the live stream should be continuous and Homebase Professional S1 should be able to detect that cameras are not operating on battery but continuous power and should provide uninterrupted continuous live streaming through its HDMI port.
Hi, I don’t have that camera or that HomeBase.
I’m going to guess you already checked to see if the firmware is up-to-date for both devices.
Hmmm.. try disconnecting the usb-c cable from the power adapter for like 5 minutes then reconnect it, check the camera settings Power Manager and check to see if it’s Power Source is correct.
This has been one of my biggest complaints with the S1 and specifically the HDMI output. Its weird because in the HDMI Ui it already shows that it knows what S3 pros are in wired mode. Eufy needs to fix this as i can already live view my s3 pros indefinitely through the app and E10 display. I have contacted support about this issue and at least they say they are aware of the HDMI limitations. I do believe this will eventually be corrected.
