I have three Eufy WIFi cameras to monitor a person with dementia. Can I set up three different notification sounds based on motion. For example one sound for the bedroom camera, one sound for living room camera and one sound for the driveway camera..

Yes, each camera can have its own notification sound.
Just open up the settings for the individual cameras and then look for Notification after that you may need to scroll down a bit to the bottom and you’ll see App Alert tones.

But is there a way to use custom notifications? Like I want to use a snore.mp3 for the bedroom and maybe a toilet flushing for the bathroom?

Well I’ve done it on Android phones, if you dig down deeper in the phone settings.
Though it is a bit difficult to know which camera sound you are changing.

unfortunately if you are using a iPhone you can’t make custom notification sounds for individual cameras only the single default one you pick or make

The response from jd164 does work. Basically using the Eufy app to set up a different sound for each camera. However, that method only uses the embedded sounds in the app. I wanted some unique notifications.

So here is what I did:

  1. I connected my android to my computer via USB and verified that I select the file transfer option in the Notification dropdown.
  2. Copy the sounds I wanted (mp3 or wav) to the Notifications folder on the android.
  3. Once you get a notification in your dropdown for a specific camera, long press that Notification and choose the settings icon/gear for that notification.
  4. On the next screen that alert will flash telling you which notification to change.
  5. Tap it then tap “sound” and you can choose the specific sound you added under step 2 above, or choose other sounds tha are already on the phone.
  6. You can repeat this for each camera notification.
  7. So essentially you are changing the sound for the Notification associated with each camera using the phone’s settings which overrides the Eufy apps settings.

This worked on my Pixel and my wife’s Samsung S22. Hope this works for yours.
