I just recently upgraded the storage of my S4 Max NVR from 2TB into 16TB(Seagate Skyhawk AI 16TB Video Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache for DVR NVR Security Camera System with Drive Health Management and in-House Rescue Services (ST16000VE000)) , and the HDD light is red not blue. What’s wrong?

I was thinking of this same drive. Let us know if you find a fix. I’ll hold off on buying until then
I actually fixed it. It worked now. Just have to formatting it.

What’s your opinion of the HDD versus an SSD for your NVR? I also have the NVR and was trying to decide which hard drive would be best for the NVR and for my Homebase 3. Any opinion on this?
