I wish there was no delay with the video recording. It has missed many moments that I’m trying to capture.
Delay? Not sure what you mean. If it spots something it should record from that instant. there are settings on how long it records after detection and if you want it to stop after motion stops or continue to record for .02 seconds to 120 seconds. If you’re talking about delay getting notifications I usually get mine in a few seconds that also depends on your notifications settings in the app some types take a couple seconds longer than others. Of course WIFI signals matter too. Hope that helps
I agree. I’m more frustrated that the motion detection cuts off the recording if the movement slows, or there’s a pause in movement or if the motion is clearly visible, but not in the immediate foreground. I’m not really sure why my events keep getting cut off, all my settings are precise and I have tried various adjustments and work arounds…I mention this to you since you have a similar issue: I am now considering the (wired) E330 pro in order to have 24/7 recording. (Plus I’m hoping it will extend my range.) Not sure if that would work for you, but you might want to consider…
Is the newest doorbell cam faster than the older one??
I too deal with camera delays
I know there are delays because I watch what happens when our car sets off the alarm and the video. The car is caught on the second half of the screen when it entered on the opposite side going very slowly.
