It’s 10 o’clock in the morning. Black and white images; been happening about a week now. Anyone else with this issue?

Maybe because it’s looking out the window and being so close to the glass and screen are causing it’s sensor to be blocked? What happens if you move it further away ?
Ensure night vision is off during the daytime or restart the camera
It’s on “automatic” in my settings which the rep at Eufy says it should be. They said it was a BUG and has been fixed. But NO, it has not. :<(
Yeah, I’ve tried moving it around, back etc. But it’s doing the same thing. It’s weird as it worked perfectly fine for the first few weeks. Eufy said it was a bug and it was fixed. But it’s not. Will be reaching out to them again. Thanks for trying to help.
Try shining a bright flashlight at the camera lens to see if it just will switch over and turn off the night vision.
Did that and saw 3 red lights flash on then back off. I see that someone else posted that they get the black and white images too but at least they can still see images etc.
I put an old tablet to record (at night as well) and the images were in color and crystal clear. I guess you get what you pay for. This is my first Cam with Eufy and wanted to test them out. ![]()
Sorry, but for whatever reason, I forgot all about ‘Google University’ but thought to ask about this flashlight thing as a neighbor did EXACTLY that to my camera! Doing that is a known tactic to disable surveillance cameras. Wow! Interesting.
