Just installed the solar panel after fully charging the device. It’s now down to 83% but no sign of the Solar panel kicking in.
It is South facing and connected albeit we’re in Edinburgh, Scotland. Any ideas how I can check it’s working ?

Remove device and reinstall and change it to charge via solar ext panel in settings camera
I think you have to open the Eufy app for the camera, click on settings then power manager then solar dashboard. The dashboard has a couple of graphs and tables to show if the camera is receiving any solar charge.
And if it is showing zero all day every day, I would unmount the camera and then place it with the solar panel facing the sun on a sunny day, and then check the solar dashboard to see if there is any movement/charge.

To check if your Eufy security solar panel is working, verify in the app under Camera Settings > Power Manager that the power source is set to “Solar Panel” and check for a charging icon (lightning bolt).
Confirm “Solar Panel” Mode: Go to Camera Settings > Power Manager > Power Source and ensure it is set to “Solar Panel” rather than “Battery”.

If it’s still doesn’t seem to be charging, then I would try disconnecting the USB cable and reinsert it.
