Looking for Recommendations on the Best Eufy Doorbell Camera
Hey everyone!
I’m looking to get a Eufy doorbell camera but not sure which one to go for. There are quite a few options, like the Battery-Powered Video Doorbell, Wired Video Doorbell, and the Dual Camera Doorbell.
For those who already have one, which model do you recommend and why? I’m looking for good video quality, reliable motion detection. Battery life and local storage options are also important to me.
Would love to hear your experiences—what’s worked well for you, and are there any downsides I should be aware of?
I just got the wired s330 doorbell (chime comes with it) and it meets your needs they have the battery operated version if not mistaken, I know I’m not a good reference bc I have it for only 3 days but I’m trying to help
Just got the E340 on Amazon. Great doorbell, good installation, feature rich. Approved. Did quite a lot of research as well, the E340 has a good deal on at the moment too.
I have the s220 wired and battery door bell unit haven’t had any issues it’s been over a year. There are several options from Eufy but if you have existing wiring for a door bell get a powered unit no need to worry about ever charging and where mine is a combo the house wires charge the battery even though it doesn’t really use the battery. It also rings the existing chime on the wall and I didn’t have to buy another chime or change any wires like you do with some other brands

I am useing wireless eufy doorbell and it’s really one you would like to have.
it’s battery lasts for even if you disable motion detection.
I am very pleased to have one so go for it and take it.
I’ve had the battery powered one mounted on the door for awhile. I like it for the most part. Kinda wish the double camer was available when I bought mine though. If mounting on the door you will need to go with a battery one. The battery lasts a while but all depends on activity.
I went with the S220 after reading some article on the best doorbell cams of 2024, then I find that they have several other models so. But you’re not trying to break the bank the S220 is actually a pretty good option in my opinion. I haven’t had them long and this is my first doorbell cam. Pretty good quality, detects pretty much everything. I would suggest pairing with the homebase 3 whatever model you choose, after a firmware upgrade for both, there’s a lot more options, and you can add up 16TB HD/SSD for local storage.
I have s220 with chime for a year now and I loved it. The only Problem I have is missing recordings and short recordings sometimes. I have it set on human only, but I detect cars too.
