I need it to detect motion in the area were you see blue tarp - about 25 feet. No success what ever I do. Sensitivity is set to max. Just now I walked back and forth in front on the camera. No recording. Only had for a day and am very disappointed so far.
Any hacks to trigger recording if the distance is too far?

small areas trigger always hard. unless you can change the lens to less wide angle or a zoomable.
Within your motion detection settings, have you got it set to ‘humans only’ or ‘all motion’? If it’s not already set to ‘all motion’ then try that. There’s been an issue with ‘human only’ mode since a firmware update in September.
You can purchase a eufy motion sensor and put it further down that alleyway. Then use automation in the app to trigger recording on the cam when the sensor trips. Its one of the unique features of eufy which I like.
What camera is this? If it’s a pir camera … nope. Distance is wrong and direction of travel up sidewalk is wrong. Thanks for the screenshot! Tells volumes
They work if this is a homebase camera. Also… they are not waterproof. Sad
How do you change a lens?
It’s the 2c pro. The gate in the shot is about 20 feet. So I am reaching a bit.
