We have several very elderly parents and relatives. I put in a video doorbell for my parents so I could monitor who was coming and going (carers etc) given they have dementia/alzheimers. I receive the motion alerts.
It worked well so I got the E340 dual camera, permanent transformer, chime, and security light camera (to cover the garage) for my home. Works great; now I see all the comings and goings at my house… mainly parcels or checking the kids get home from school OK… but also that my wife has put the correct bin out on collection day if I’m working away.
After showing various elderly relatives the app on the ipad and mobile alerts and lack of subscription they were sold and asked for the doorbell and chime… so i sorted that for them… got them all setup, accounts registered and installed.
I then shared from their account/home to my email as an “admin” user to be able to provide remote tech support.
What I DONT want is all their notifications. Im happy for mine and my parents, but just not everybody else’s.
Is there a way to turn off just the notifications from a “home” shared with you?
When I turned off notifications on the device… it disabled for everybody (kind of expected)… and I cant see how to filter notifications in the app to the locations/devices/type of notification I myself am bothered about.
I contacted support… but they didnt read the question and just told me how to disable app notifications (like I was some technical idiot)
