Hi all…
Im having a problem with one of my cameras. My neighbours floodlight is constantly coming on, and it sets off my camera constantly through the night…its a eufycam2.
Unfortunately i cant narrow the motion detection area down anymore than i have done, i may as well not have it on at all.
Any advice?
if you can’t frame outh the security light physically at your end by manually adjusting the camera, there is probably not much you can do, but if you are on freindly terms with your neighbour you could maybe try convince or pay for him to experiment with a more efficient bulb such as an LED one. The IR sensor is picking up on the heat (and thinks it’s a living thing) which is why it’s being triggered
Have you tried decreasing the motion sensitivity setting?
Check your camera settings. Set for “human only” and adjust the sensitivity from 7 to 4 in incremental steps and optimal battery life. Adjust sensitivity until the problem stops. Should the camera be set to “all motion” and highest sensitivity, it will false/trigger - no way around it.

Unfortunately we are not on good terms. They have been reaching over onto my property and cutting my trees down… its been a police matter. They are not nice at all… just my luck
