No alert with Android Auto

I have 3 x eufyCam 2C Pro cameras with HomeBase2 and a stand alone Floodlight cam E30 which is hard wired. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 phone.

Everything works fine EXCEPT that I am unable to receive alerts on my car’s infotainment system through Android Auto. I am however able to receive alerts through Bluetooth.

I have checked all the settings, permissions etc and uninstalled and reinstalled the eufy app but all to no avail. I would be grateful for any advice on how to overcome this very annoying and frustrating problem.

You might need to check your phone settings, which might be overriding the Eufy app permissions.

If you’re using Android Auto, non essential notifications will not pop up while driving.
