I don’t use the eufy app to access the community forum because it never loads…

But if I tap on the notification Bell icon it opens up and from there I can tap on a post and if it has a video I’m able to play it.

So I’ve always been using my phone’s web browser app which is Chrome to go to the community forum.

You just log in with your same credentials that you use for the eufy app to sign in.

So on the Chrome web browser I seem to be having the same issues you are experiencing when you access it through the eufy app.

I’m thinking about downloading another web browser maybe like Firefox to try to see if I experience the same issue. Though I really don’t want to download another browser…

It loads for me the only difference is that I’m not logged into my community account so i can’t change anything but i can at least view my post just more work to find them. Hopefully they will figure out the issue with the forum. I’ll email them tomorrow

Well, I downloaded the Brave browser and I’m still having the same :poop::sob:

I just deleted the app and then reinstalled it and it worked fine because the same thing happened to me also

How do you mean delete the app? Are you talking about the Eufy security app? I don’t have a app for the forum I just sign in through a bookmark i made from originally visiting the site. please help me understand because this is very frustrating any help would be appreciated

I can access if I go through the fan center but i can only see the videos and comments. I can’t change anything like I can when using the community forum. Com site

But if using fan center I have to scroll and scroll to find a video unlike the forum I just tap on the heading but it doesn’t play

@ele1980 I’m pretty sure you can access the forum through the app.
Tap on the sidebar or now it’s the round human silhouette or your picture icon on the top left, from there you should find something that says community forum?.

I’m at a loss still trying to access/play videos through my phone’s web browser while on the eufy community forum…
Dang new posts just don’t want to show up, nothing clickable just text, no player window like it always use to be…
Someone had posted a reply from a post back in October “today”, and look the play window shows and I can watch the video, but any new posts with a video in it just does not work… I don’t know what’s going on here…:person_facepalming:t2:

Thanks that’s how I do it sometimes but I don’t think I can change anything on my account or edit my comments like i can the other way but I emailed support and they said they are looking into it

Yeah I’ve only seen the play symbol on a few old posts but I swear i was able to do it on my posts a couple weeks ago something happened

It’s like we got two different things going on…
I don’t like using the app to get to the community forum, I find it too clunky and the user interface not easy to use_for me…
Accessing it through my phone’s web browser much easier…
Well something’s going on, I saw a post you replied to a few minutes ago and the video link is highlighted and I can play it.

I take that back that one is highlighted and works but it’s a photo not a video
