Once my 4tb har

Once my 4tb hard drive is full in my hb3, what do I do next? Is there a way to mass delete videos I don’t want or reformat the hard drive to delete everything?

It will continue to record and delete the oldest file first. If you have it set that way.

Thank you

As @Ray3698 has said, it is cyclic recording, a bit like a dash cam. A new video will overwrite the oldest video, so there is no need to manually delete all videos for yourself.

Awesome, I appreciate the response. So the only benefit of having such a large HD is I will have footage saved so far back.

Exactly that. Eufy claims that with motion detection 1TB can store up to a year, with continuous recording its a month. So you either can have 4 years, or 4 months of footage saved (give or take depending on activity of course.)

That tracks, I have continuous recording set. From Nov. 28th till now I’ve used 44% of the 4tb.

The ext4a stirage allows you to run more features without running out of storage real quick… for instance
If your running a lot of cams some continuously and others bridged together…
If you have ten cameras, you can program them to all go off at the same time when just one of them are triggered…
And you’d be able to program each and everyone of the ten cams to do the same thing… not sure if you use that feature but it could take up a lot storage if they were if they were going g off all night…

:grinning:

I like that case though…
