One of my 4 Eufy camera’s, after initiation and connection to the base, has been physically moved to an area where WiFi signal comes via a WiFi booster. Same SSID, same router. Unfortunately the camera looses connection when moved to that area. What can I do?
The cameras only connect wirelessly to the HomeBase via its own proprietary hidden SSID Wi-Fi network.
The cameras do not connect to your home’s Wi-Fi.
You could try to centralize the HomeBase in your home where all your cameras get a good signal.
Unless you have purchased a camera that is multi-bridge capable, then it is able to connect to your home’s Wi-Fi.
Useful for setting Homebase !!
Hm… too bad! I am afraid that will not work, since my camera’s are far apart in separate parts of the building separated by walls. Hence my assumption the WiFi booster would do the job. Is there an other solution to connect to the homebase?
You can set up a 2nd home base
The WiFi extender does work for some cameras if they use your WiFi. I use one for my E330 pro cameras and i have a app from my internet provider that tells me what devices are connected to it so i can confirm that some do use WiFi if you have it enabled that way in the app
I have S300 camera’s. Is it possible to configure the HomeBase such that the camera’s can be connected using my home WiFi? Eg. applying my home WiFi SSID?
