Outdoor cams went offline, can't get them back up

I have 2 Outdoor Cams that both went offline. Nothing would get them back up, so I removed them and tried to re-add.

When I plug them in, the purple light comes on but then goes off and the blue light does not come on. If I still try to add the cameras, it gets to the part where you select the network and then does not find one (the network signal is very strong where I’m trying to add them).

I’ve held the sync button for 10 seconds to reset the cameras. Any ideas?

Are you trying to reinstall them next to the home base? I’m pretty sure when you reinstall them as a new device you have to be next to the HB initially

Happened to me with the update had to reinstall all the camera all working fine now! How are you getting on with your’s?

Just got my cameras installed yesterday (outdoor). Last night they went offline and I have tried all troubleshooting techniques, nothing is working. All I get is the solid purple light no beeps when trying to rest. This is so frustrating. Support did nothing to help me. Any tips?

How did you reinstall? Nothing is working for me and all support is trying to do is push me to return them. When I spent 120 for someone to come permanently install them into my house yesterday.

I learned from reddit that the recent firmware update to some cameras left them unable to connect to wifi and are thus unusuable. Eufy support claimed to some redditors that they are working on a fix to come out sometime in the middle of this month.

If they don’t double beep and reset after a 10 second hold of the synch button, they’ve probably been bricked by a bad version of the app. It’s happened to many people’s cameras and eufy are refusing to take responsibility for it and do anything about it on any device that’s no longer in warranty. Basically, they broke it but it’s your problem.

same problem on me.
I have a new HomeBaseS380 with my indoor & outdoor cams linked with it for central continuous recording, but in the end I couldn’t read any real-time streaming of the cams from cell phone app.
