A outdoor motion sensor unit that connects directly to the camera (instead of the homebase) would be a great add-on.
Being able to increase the detection range of the camera (through automation) without having to ensure that the motion sensor is within reach of the homebase.
For instance if a camera is placed to record a road, usually the cameras motion detection range isn’t enough to see the whole car or license plate. A outdoor motion sensor could be concealed a bit down the road and then trigger the camera to ensure decent recording.
