Permanent USB power supply for Video Doorbell 2K (Battery-Powered)

Hi,

I’m a new owner of Eufy 2k VideoDoorbell (Battery Powered)
As battery autonomy does satisfy my needs, I wonder if its safe to permanently connect the USB connector to power supply.
My wire infrastructure does not meet AC current needs (wires are too thin). The idea is to use the thin wires (enough to carry USB current) to the doorbell.
Can you please tell me if this makes sense (permanent USB power connection)?

The battery doorbell can be charged via existing traditional doorbell wires.
