Your cameras could be a foundation for people who care about privacy. There are so many people who would contribute. No open source option exists.

Really doubt this will happen especially as they have set up automations & allied with apple to lock the system to them
There’s no option to even choose to update or not, little or no update log, no update history, no manual firmware load
They were supposed to allow IFTTT 2 years ago & now have told people that it won’t happen & no API will be available, no integration with home assistant etc
They have said it’s due to technical limitations yet people have managed to get some of the API from the webportal
