New Eufy owner here trying to set up cameras in the app. I have two E340 floodlight cameras which I want simply to record videos of all Humans and all Vehicles, but I want only notifications of Humans. I do not want to be dinged every time a vehicle goes by, but I do want to preserve the video. I have these selections set properly in the app. I am getting almost no videos of vehicles recorded. If I turn on the Notifications for Vehicles, I begin to get videos recorded of Vehicles. I am wondering if anyone has seen this, or managed to work around this, or knows if this is a limitation of the camera? I ask because I went through two other competitors brands of cameras that I was told could separate these tasks but in the end were not capable of videoing if they were not also notifying. My Google Nest was able to do this. Customer service has been unable to help me. Wondered if an experienced user could.

My experience is you can’t get to that at present. Once you tell the cam what you want to watch for you are going to get notices for all those things. It doesn’t have a separate menu to check off notice by the type of thing you have told it to look for. Eufy assumes if you choose vehicle you want to get a ding for everyone it sees.

I don’t have that camera, in the notifications you uncheck what you don’t want to be notified of.
I’ve never used it but I just tested it out I “had” unchecked human walked in front of the camera and did not receive a notification though it did record me.
So, it should work as intended to.
