Hi. I just bought a S3 Pro Eufy cam to add with my homebase 3. After installing it in the eufy app I added it to HomeKit but then something went wrong so I removed the eufy hub from HomeKit and now I cannot add it again, there is no option in the app to
“remove the link” from HomeKit and if I scan the QR-code on the Homebase an error message appears stating that the accessory is not available.
I’ve tried to plug the Homebase directly onto the router and also restarted the Homebase as well as removed/added the s3 pro in the eufy app.
I would try these…
We’ll start off with the least evasive.
Log out of the eufy app then close the app. Now log back in. See if you can add it now.
If not, then clear the cache of both apps… and try again.
If still NG, you may want to try a reset of the HB3, remove all devices from the app then start the reset process.
This will cause you needing to add everything back to the eufy app as if it is a new setup…
Ohh, one other thing, does the eufy app know you want to use apple homekit?
The apps sidebar ☰ >> Settings >> Works with >> Apple homekit.
