S3 Pro’s refuse to update firmware

HI all,

Today I received my brand new Homebase 3 kit together with two EufyCam S3 Pro’s, an E340 doorbell and a chime.

On-boarding and installation went very smooth.
After setting everyrhing up I started testing and noticed that the snapshot feature (set to 3 minutes on both camera‘s) made very distorted pictures. Only the top left corner of each image is somewhat visable.


Then I checked the firmware versions, and it appeared that both camera’s are on version 3.0.8.3 and could be updated to version 3.1.2.2.

When I click ‘Update’, both camera’s start updating, one after the other, each taking a couple of minutes.

But after they’re finished they’re still on the old firmware.

I first unplugged the bower to the base station for a couple of minutes, but that didn’t fix it.

Then I reset both camera’s by holding the sync button until the light went out (20 seconds approximately) but that doesn’t fix it either.

Does anyone have another tip for me?
