S340 camera with solar panel. I have two of these cameras that have been working very well for over a year using the solar panels.

I have noticed for the past month neither camera is being charged with the solar panels. I have tried removing then adding the camera back, I have tried unplugging and replugging in the solar panels, restarting the cameras. You can see direct sunlight hitting the panels. The battery keeps going down and it’s currently at,60%, still no solar charging but worked great for more than a year so what happened and to both cameras.

Hmmmm, see if it will take a charge with an AC charger adapter or if you have a power brick/bank try that just to test it out.

Thank you for the suggestion. I should have stated I have charged both cameras using the AC charger without any issues. This is all very confusing to me since they have been working fine with the solar panels - then all of a sudden both are not charging via solar panel. Even though the solar panel icon is seen the picture frame indicating that it is seen by the software/hardware but not charging. Very odd.

Could this non-charging solar panel issue coincide with a firmware update to the cameras?

Another post here was recently made about their solar panels not charging too.

Yes, the solar panel issue not charging appears to coincide with a firmware update from what I can see. I have a feeling it has something to do with the latest updates since it hot both cameras. Thank you.
