My S340 cameras use to pan back to their default position after a vehicle has pass when I had the motion set for over 30 sec. I don’t know why but since I added the Homebase it no longer works the same. So if a vehicle triggers the cameras now, the cameras will track the vehicle but will stay lock in the direction the vehicle has pass and stay looking in that direction for over 30sec until the recording ends. It used to go back to the default position when there was still recording time left and that’s what I miss. Any suggestions?
You might try calibrating it again…
Reset the default position
I have deleted all my preset positions and setup just one preset position for now. I also calibrated the camera. I will see if this helps
Ya mine still going bizzerk. Tried everything I could… I’m thinking I’m going to have to take it down and put in the backyard…
Do you have any videos saved of when it did that?
Do you have it on an optimized or customized setting?
Do you remember changing this setting after adding to the Homebase?
Do you have them set to solar or battery? (A few little under-the-radar things change when you set it to battery, it should be set to solar as long as you have a solar panel attached).
I don’t think I ever remember mine going back to the preset position during a recording; but I have seen mine do inconsistent things like record a 1m clip even after the target is long gone and then in the same day, same settings, same target, record a more precise 14s clip (while using customized settings @ 60s with 5s retrigger, even when end early is NOT selected).
Try restarting it. See if it resets…
