Stop notifications from all but one camera for myself but not for people I share with

We live full-time in a Grand Design travel trailer (RV) and I have an HB3, a Solocam S340 on the front door, and a Solar Wall Cam on the opposite side. My neighbors loved my cameras so much that they started getting them and adding them to my HB3 because I’m in the RV park year-round (they leave their gear here year-round) and I have a permanent internet solution. My closest neighbor just got a Solar Wall Cam and we added it to my HB3 flawlessly.

The problem I’m having is that there is a LOT of traffic in the park and I don’t need to see notifications from every camera every time. The only camera I’m truly worried about is the camera watching the front door. I tried turning off notifications on the cameras I didn’t need to hear from and, because I’m the only admin, inadvertently turned off ALL notifications to the cameras I didn’t want to see, to the point they stopped recording. I turned those cameras back on so that they would still record, but as I feared, I started getting a flood of notifications regarding movement.

How do I set this up so that the cameras I don’t want to “hear” from still record, but stop telling me every time there is movement?
I don’t want to kill all notifications because there are others that are needing to see them, but I don’t need to all the time.

You can set notifications on or off for each individual camera. I have 9 cameras but only want notifications from the doorbell. I went to the settings for each camera and set them accordingly

I’m curious how you mounted the S340 and wall camera on your RV. I also travel and have this camera combination and wondered if you could post a few photos of your mounting solutions. Thanks!

You can also do the activity notification for each camera as well. Hope this help.

Don’t have the answer on the sensitivity on the s340, I’m in the same boat…
The only thing I can tell you is if they stop recording its probably do to the fact they ran out of storage… you can erase it and start over…
If given up on the the sensitivity of the cam… let me guess works fine in the day and flips out at night…
I’ve turned it down during the night and turn back up at night… what you can do is get a back up cam… and snooz the s3 at night…

Turn back up as soon as it turns to day…

On the detection setting hit human and pet only, set your activity zones so they aways from the road too… that’ll probably get you through the day but at night they pick everything regardless of what you have it set on…
Those S340’s are more of a house cam somthing you’d put on top of your garage or house or somthing… it’s probably a little overkill for you RV…
But regardless they go haywire at night…

I tried that and I inadvertently shut off 2 of the cameras. The notifications section of each camera isn’t what it seems. If you turn off notifications, the camera no longer records any events.
Can you please share where you found the individual settings?

The HB3 resides inside on my desk. I use T-Mobile Home Internet full-time and the WiFi broadcasts far enough that my immediate neighbors got cams and added them to my HB3. You’ll understand if I don’t feel comfortable posting pictures of someone else’s rig. Suffice to say the other Solar Wall Cam is in the same spot as mine.

I have an HB3 with a TB SSD, the likelihood of it running out of space to record is extremely unlikely. When you full-time in a RV it is your “home” and I don’t think anyone’s personal security (for you and your belongings) is “overkill”. I specifically picked the solar cams because they will run virtually forever without needing to be plugged in and if they ever become “separated” from the HB3 they will record events regardless. Coupled with the fact that they are detachable from their mounts for travel days makes them the PERFECT RV security system.

Okey got you… now is it acting up all the time or just at night…

Not trying to be disrespectful about you living in an RV, but those S340 are supper sensitive, especially at night…
That’s why I said it be nice if you’d lived in codisac were you only have a 2 or 3 cars going by… but ya in an RV in an RV community , were you got traffic passing all the time…
Ya it’s probably a little to sensitive for your current situation…¹l

You can try blocking out the roadbwithva privacy zone so it don’t pick the passing traffic… if that don’t work I don’t know what will…

Nice mounting positions! Thanks for posting.
For my rig this will probably not work mounted so near the rain gutters. I frequent the WA/OR coast with its heavy rains and not so much in Palm tree country.
I use 1” Flagpole Buddy mounts on my rear ladder with the S340 covering the entire passenger side area. The S120 Wall Camera resides in front of the rig with coverage of my vehicle and illuminating the loading/unloading of my truck.
And you are correct in stating that security of one’s property in RV parks is paramount. The sheer number of thefts of e-bikes, generators, camp chairs, grills etc. warrants security of your own and your neighbors lots.
I’ve been approached several times already by adjacent neighbors wanting to view footage of nighttime activity concerning thefts. I see security cams as becoming the norm in the RV community due to the fact that the very things we carry with us and use outdoors for our camping pleasure, are so useful to those less fortunate without housing.

I checked and you are correct. I get events for all cameras but only a pop up notification for my Eufy doorbell being pushed.

Turning off notifications for a camera should not kill it from recording… Another thing is that I believe there is a glitch in that if you turn off notifications for a camera it will inadvertently disable notifications for a shared device_ like your neighbor’s camera?
It would need to be tested if that does occur.

So you want to turn off notifications for some cameras, I tested this with my five cameras.
I turned off notifications for one camera, that one camera still records movement, and I did not receive a notification for it, walked in front of two other cameras with their notifications enabled and received a notification for both of them and they recorded.
I used the cameras own settings.

Also check your Security Modes. I left them as is for all cameras.
