Thinking of upgrading to the Homebase 3 , but does anyone have experience of the maximum range of the device reception? I want to move my eufy doorbell camera down to my gate (about 75 metres) the current Homebase 2 won’t reach that- any advice please? Thanks

It probably won’t work over such a long distance.

I don’t believe the range is any different between Homebase 2 and Homebase 3, but I could be wrong.

How far can you get with your home base 2?

Is there anything solid in between the homebase and the doorbell location? Can you put the homebase high up? Still probably too greater distance

I’d have to second the cellular camera, 75m is quite a distance. Do you even have WiFi that far out?

I have a c210 camera behind my shed probably 75 feet or more and through a couple of walls I have a wifi extender in my garage and i think that helps getting a strong wifi signal out there but if you can (there’s always a way) move your home base and modem more central

Thanks for all your advice, I’ve tried an extender unsuccessfully, despite a clear line of sight to the gate, but I’ll consider the new cellular and WiFi camera as an option, and try that.

Maybe in conjuction with a wifi extender?
