Seeing all the problems with Eufy app v4 I am staying on v3 and will not update the app until Eufy sort out problems, knowing Eufy its going to be a long wait because Eufy are useless at dealing with our complants and concerns. I only wish that I had read this forum before I fell into the Eufy trap and had I known there was so many hassles and Eufy’s inability to rectify them would have gone with a different manufacturer, Eufy products are good but managed by idiots who are only interested in sales without support.

A full month later and no solution to my problem. Eufy IT has been unhelpful and I have three cameras I can no longer add to my phone, ipad or anything. This is unacceptable for a security system.

These devices worked before the app"update" now are devices that I can’t communicate with. I have several hundred dollars worth of bricks. Buyer beware.

@all858 your best bet is to download version 3 from internet because it works as I am still on it and refuse to upgrade, also if you waiting for Eufy be prepared for a long wait because they are utterly useless and only interested in new sales and Eufy support are useless to date they have not solved my problems.

With new 4.0 the Live view have difficulties to connect. slower…

and the Night Vision button in App kept turning itsrlf ON.
a software bug. ( Eufy updated app and this bug is fixed) thx Eufy.

The firmware is same, other than app updated.

I don’t have a fix, but I am hella curious on how you’re able to get dark mode in your Eufy security app? Mine is in light mode all the time.

One thing I noticed with my system is as soon as I upgraded my internet speeds higher than 500Mbps, all 8 of my cameras, 3 door sensors and 2 hubs suddenly were super responsive. My entire Eufy system is extremely reliable, fast and consistent. I remember I would lose video feed the second I would start talking through the camera, or videos never fully recording. So, as a heads up, if you have really bad internet, you will not get the full potential from these devices. Also make sure to connect them to a separate guest network.

Live feed is basically dead on all 4 of my devices since updating to v4. It sucks.
