Camera picks up motion but A. I. fails to classify/pick up the cat and query as a pet.

It does work for me. I think here as it’s dark and the cat is a distance area with only small movements it will struggle to identify it as a pet. In general the cameras were designed to spot humans; animals were an afterthought
I have the Homebase which has the “Pet Detection” I think the upgardes should have changed the detection sensor. It recorded the Cat for over 30 seconds.
Pet detection does not normally record over 15 to 20 seconds at times. And the Cameras does not track and I have Two cameras.
In a recent exchange with eufy about my s340 and my doorbell detecting cats as humans they told me that neither the camera or HB3 can tell the difference between cats and humans as they are approximately the same size and shape as each other, I won’t write my reply here but it did contain phrases like false advertising and miss selling

Cat or fox?
A Fox will be logged as a “Pet” on the Homebase 3. Akin to a dog

a cat is always detected as a human on my system and eufy say the AI can’t tell the difference I have a long email exchange with them about it they said to move the cameras to somewhere the cat is not

Cat, female and ferocious 
I think they should change pet to animal as anything none human and living, between a mouse and a bear are both marked as pets as is a snake, spider and wasp.

My pet detection is turned off so it’s double annoying that it detects it and then classes it as human and I correct the AI every time but I’m glad yours appears to work and agree it needs changing from pet to animal
