Tracking and Activity Zone Issues (4G LTE Cam S330 & SoloCam S340)

I am experiencing ongoing tracking and Activity Zone issues with both my 4G LTE Cam S330 and SoloCam S340. The cameras routinely become distracted by humans or vehicles (clearly outside the Activity Zone), abandoning the subject that originally triggered the event. This almost always occurs when the target pauses briefly, moves behind cover, or nears the zone boundary. Sometimes it happens for no apparent reason at all. Critical moments are being missed. The behaviour defeats the purpose of a pan and tilt camera with AI tracking within a defined zone.

With guidance from Eufy Support, I’ve reset both cameras, reinstalled the Eufy Security app on a new iPhone 17 and a Mac Studio, re-added the cameras, recreated Activity Zones, and tested Motion Sensitivity settings from 3 to 7. Despite all this, the issue persists.

Eufy Support concluded it may be a firmware or software issue, closed my support ticket, and referred me to Eufy Global Support.

If anyone else has experienced similar tracking behaviour, I’d be very interested to hear from you. A possible remedy would be appreciated, as I do not look forward to spending hours of my time attempting to resolve this issue with Eufy Global Support.
