Troubleshooting Mega Thread

I got a new phone and when I try to setup my doorbell it just gets into a loop it asks me to scan the QR code, I do it says confirm whether wifi bell then asks to scan. What dogshit.

We have recently decided to invest in a new video doorbell (not Eufy) as our present one (Eufy 2k video battery doorbell) will not film in colour during the day now despite trying the suggestions from Eufy support, and we’re tired of the problems we’ve always had in trying to speak to someone at the door when we are away and have had the notification someone has runs the doorbell. iOS 2 years old now and disappointed that something like this has only lasted for such a short time. What I’d like to know is how do I permanently delete my account? I’ve removed all the equipment from the account but I just can’t see a way to delete the account.

Hi, my Homebase 3 is very noisy. The fan is very loud. what is to do ?

Curious, how noisy is it? Is it just a fan blowing sound or does it sound mechanical like a bearing failure?

Hi. I thick i can only post images. Sorry. The sound is only fan blowing. I’m sitting a meter away from it and it’s a pretty annoying hum.

Does the cooling fan constantly run?
Are you using a hard drive and if so what type. HDD (hard disc) or SSD (solid state drive).

I use a SSD and yes - the fan running constantly. If the home base was next to my bed, I wouldn’t be able to sleep. It’s that loud.

Shame you can’t connect any cameras to a WiFi extender. Low signal problems.

I have had eufy system for 7 years now. Initially with eufy cam 2 with 5 cameras and homebase 2. I’ve only had one camera die. Last year I upgraded to home base 3 and got 3 solo cams and two doorbell cams and one deadbolt to add to my security. It’s all worked great and flawlessly until the last month. Now all cameras randomly go offline together, deadbolt still works. After no specific time the cameras will reconnect. Please help.

Minor issue, but why does the “video clips deleted” banner have to block all the buttons for 3-5 seconds? Makes my occasional cleaning out of unneeded clips take way longer

I install additional storage to my home base3 but I don’t have any recordings, and when I went to the storage settings it’s shows RTSP. I dont know what that means?

You should see it right in the cameras Settings.

That cam is connected to HB3 but, did you join that camera to the Edge Connection?

:thinking: hmmm. Well you say everything’s up-to-date with firmware.
Try restarting the HomeBase3 if no change then restart the cameras.

You may have to contact eufy support see what’s going on.

Can I change my notifications to only notify my device when the bell is pushed and not just when a human is identified? (Ps. My wife wants to keep all notifications to her device)

There is no sound from exterior on my Floodlight 2k pro cam, only the sound of the mechanics when the camera turns

Have you tried removing the camera from your network and restarting and installing it again? I had trouble and that helped. Also I habe a dedicated IOT wifi 2,4 Ghz network for canera’s, dishwasher, refrigerator etc.
