One of my camera’s did not pick up a truck pulling in my driveway at all however the second camera which was installed second did. How could this have happened? Any idea? Security System
Yes I also have trouble with not everything is captured, eg. You see event someone leaving but doesn’t show when they arrived.
Honestly, it usually comes down to the
camera being “blinded” by the angle or just overthinking things. Eufy cameras catch motion best when something moves across the screen from side to side; if that first camera is staring straight down the driveway, a truck driving right at it can easily slip by unnoticed. Plus, if you have that camera set to “Human Only,” the Al is literally looking for legs and a torso, so it completely ignores a massive piece of metal. Battery cameras also take a second to wake up, so if the truck was moving fast, or if the camera was resetting after a false alarm like a blowing leaf, it just missed the window. To fix it, just open the app, switch that camera’s settings to All Motion or select vehicles, and crank the sensitivity up a notch or two.
