Unable to read live feed from T8210C battery doorbell camera

Hi there

I just installed the 2K Video Doorbell (T8210c) and connected it via Homebase 3.

However I cannot watch the live feed, unless my phone is right next to the doorbell, as if the phone is connecting to it directly, rather than via the Homebase. The wifi shows that it has good strength. This problem applies to both my ios device (ipad) and my android phone. I variably get -204 error, p2p error or others.

The problem seems very similar to what is described here:

The firmware on my doorbell is 3.0.7.1, and I am unable to update it to 3.0.7.7.

I have tried other suggested solutions on that thread to no avail, and have been in touch with Eufy who have advised various generic solutions which haven’t worked.

I’ve asked Eufy if they can push the firmware update to my doorbell as this seems to have worked for other people but instead they are asking for my home address, ie my shipping address, even though I bought the doorbell from a local store (the address of which I provided) and they have not indicated that all troubleshooting options have been exhausted. I’ve said that we should try all other options first, and I don’t want to share my home address. I’ve used Eufy support before and they never asked me for my address.

Is it usual for the personal address of somebody to be requested? also any tips on how I can get the firmware update pushed through?

Cheers
