What could be causing my eufy S350 to only record 20-30 seconds of events? Previously, it recorded at least 2 minutes. Is there any way to set the camera to record full events?
you probably already know but under device settings tap on power management then check off customize recording and the next screen is the slider for recording length and a toggle to turn on/off end clip if motion stops. With that said I have had some short videos also once and a while for some strange reason but it’s not a constant thing. I think just another glitch
I’ve searched the entire menu and haven’t found an option where I can set recording length parameters. The app was recently updated.
ok. It’s definitely there and i also have the latest app version just released last week. If it is a powered camera it’s under video settings then recording settings. There is a timer slider and a toggle switch for ending clip early if there is no motion. Battery cameras are under the power management setting. Here is a couple screenshots from my powered cameras. I have 22 cameras of multiple different models and they all have it. I don’t have the S350 but I would be surprised if it doesn’t but maybe
you are right I just looked it up and the S350 doesn’t have this option. Very strange sorry to misinform you
I checked the cameras and noticed something was wrong. First, a dog entered the room, and the camera immediately made a decision about two minutes of movement. The current recording was a few seconds long with the device connected, and these are usually short 20-second recordings. What could be delayed? The S350 doesn’t have the option of equipping the original version.
Somewhere in settings you can change it
I’ve looked through every possible place and option. The only thing I can think of is the continuous recording setting. I’ll test it today.
If you haven’t tried this yet, maybe it just needs a restart?
In the camera settings, it should be on the first page near the bottom “Restart Device”.
If that doesn’t fix the video length recording issue, then just unplug the power adapter for 2 minutes then plug it back in and wait for it to boot up and connect back to Wi-Fi.
