Looks to me like the camera looked to the reflective object when the light came on. It took it away from the human or motion it had originally detected. I hate it when they do that.

Does it always swing to the left when motion is detected?

If this camera isn’t connected to a HomeBase 3, one possible reason for what you’re seeing is that the E340’s PIR sensor and infrared camera detected motion and triggered the floodlight. When the floodlight came on, it suddenly changed the thermal pattern in the scene, causing the camera to lose focus. After that, the camera switched to normal-light mode, refocused on the moving object, and began tracking it.
