Don’t you need one store all your videos? Or do they store just on the doorbell? I’ve always had a home base, I thought you had to have one?
Ohhh on the chime sd card, gotcha! I use my normal doorbell chime (analog oldschool one)

Apparently the benefit is the AI for facial recognition, you can upgrade your storage, etc

If you have a HB3, some cameras will have access to “BionicMind” and actually learn people’s faces who frequent the home - naming individuals. Others will be tagged as “someone” or “a stranger”. It’s pretty amazing!

Storage. Giofencing, facial recognition… I got a 1 tb SDD drive so it can store all my video probably for the next ten years…

And i have one gig Wi-Fi speeds and the best eero wifi routers 6E they offer and the home base still has a better range all the way out to the camera’s on my garage!

Geez, I bought 2 HB3’s for 75 each. I was going to buy 1@$149 but got excited when they went 1/2 off. Im figuring giving it as a Christmas gift but who ever gets it has to invest in purchasing Eufy Security cameras if they want to utilize it (HB3).
